The decision on the GST increases for 2023 and 2024 were made prior to the Ukraine war. In view of the super hyperinflation caused by this war, the PAP ought to defer the 2 respective GST increases until inflation gets back to nominal sense. It's not as if the government's reserves are already severely depleted as of now.
