Bad service from bus 975, waiting time is more than 25 mins

STOMPer Som wonders why it took more than 25 minutes for bus service 975 to arrive. According to the STOMPer, on bad days, it will take 45 minutes for the next bus 975 to arrive.

The STOMPer complains:

"This is SMRT bus service at its worst.

"Bus 975 does not have any time sense this afternoon (Sep 5).

"I was waiting for the bus for more than 25 minutes. This 975 service, is one of the horrible service I have ever come across.

"Once I waited for 45 minutes. I have seen the frustration of the old folks from that hot afternoon.

"More than 50 percent of 975 service are not in time.

"One more thing I have noticed that some of its drivers are very rude. And I think they are from China with no sense of local knowledge.

"Once I asked why the money deducted twice while tapping in the machine. and he rudely answered me 'meyo', 'meyo'.

"He does not even understand simple English. I would like to request for the authority to take appropriate action.

"Many fellow residents are dependent on this service, and their time is important too.

"It would be better if the frequency is increased to 3 to 5 minutes to solve the long waiting time."

the sloth in the bus services is in sync with the gahmen's campaign for sporns to make more babies.

Well sometimes, incredulous is the word and fustration is the feel.

- You wait for 30 minutes for a bus, and two arrive at the same time after the wait.

- You go up a bus rushing for work or appointment; the driver drives as if he's in a funeral procession.

- You go up a bus with nothing particularly urgent; the driver drives as if he's racing for F1 Grand Prix.

- Some drivers speed pass bus stops with passengers frantically flagging; some drivers stop at empty bus stops without any soul alighting or flagging.

I'd like to put matters into perspective. I've taken public buses in many countries from first world to third. This is uniquely Singapore.
