the teenage subplot is way overdone with american junior high school style antics. they are refugees on their own planet with nature all around them making them more respectful of their environment and each other. instead they behave like american teens with too much growth hormones. how the fuck alien inhabitants know how to behave like american teens billions of light years away? truly fucked up screenplay. at least the visuals are out of this world.
