Are Trump's Asia tariffs a 'full-frontal assault' on China?

It's working better beyond his wildest imagination. He has decoupled the US economy from the whole world

I have travelled to US several times.. I believe Trump when he said US has everything they need.. They dont need the world...

Trump's goal is to decouple US economy and reliance on China.
Only you believe that this can happen. The whole world is now intertwined. There's no such thing as who can choose who to rely upon. Your argument is totally flawed. Your mentality is so laid back like in the 60s. Wake up lah.

Yeah sure, when we were in America on 2 occasions previously, at their factory outlets, almost 85% of the goods sold were Made-In-China. I'd even told my wife: Why do we come all the way here to buy a pair of Timberland sandals which are Made-In-China?

Whilst in New York, we had bought a miniature piece of the Statue Of Liberty costing US$19.95 and it was also Made-In-China, utilizing Japanese clock movement.

Wish them best of luck
The mass confusion created by this constant news flow from Donald Trump is dizzying for the industry and investors. It is just creating a great deal of uncertainty and confusion for companies trying to plan their supply chain, inventory and demand.

Sounds like Soviet Union. But you are correct. As long as you can overide the environmentalist.

We need to understand that massive the trade-imbalance between US and China is also an issue for many countries.
