Hair is dead organism outside the body, not inside, just attached, but no longer living without any blood vessel connection. That's why you can cut it without any physical pain or injury. Many people think cancer causes hair loss. That's not true. It's the chemotherapy treatment that causes it.

I have silky straight hair like most women, in fact some would say like what many women would even envy. I don't like curls anyway.

Talking about curls and women, I notice that even among Indians, Malays and Caucasians of whom many men have curly hair, their women mostly seem to have straight hair. The only exception seems to be Africans, of whom both men and women have the same curly hair, and very curly.

Anyway, I haven't visited a barber or hairdresser for more than half a year. Shampoo, mousse, comb and hairband are all I need.

Oh, I was quite a kiddy gangster in the 70s, but the bloody school wouldn't allow it to be too long. Anyway, even then, I only went for haircut at second warning for long hair (third warning meant call parents).

My dad had thick hair too, but he was the ROC Shanghai Bund type, trimmed short well above neck and ears and greased up with Tancho.

Then I joined police. Of course during the 6 months in academy, hair had to be very short, not as short as army BMT but still very short.

Anyway, Thick Face Black Heart has complained that he's getting bored with me. So may I add, I look just as handsome, short or long hair.
