Siri was just too far ahead of its time & thus little demand, not no demand.
While my post had listed a few applications of this product, some may think that the market for such products will be limited to govt agencies, and thus the limited profits. However, make no mistake with this product by Apple. Just let me list a few more, just in the service industries alone, that would be of mass appeal across ENTIRE industries, the way home computers became a norm today. & made Apple, along with its investors, with deep financial resources that will last beyond generations.
1. Hotels
With this product, when combined with AI that has access to a huge data base & natural neural network - the internet, a hotel manager using such will within lightning speed determine a guest from which country - AI profiling, what are his/her dislikes, temperament, clothing styles, etc, or display thru the device if he/she had been a regular guest - which room, what services, etc. With such info, guests would feel honored & reciprocate in kind, thus, profits to the Hotel.
2. Food stalls.
Wearing this device connected to AI, the food seller would have a wide array of information at finger tips - the temp of his food to avoid contamination for health reasons, the portions as determined by input to AI & managed by seller, re-supply, stocks intake, daily accounting, & much much more. This is where Siri can come into play if the seller is too tired to look into screens & turn Siri on.
It is a brave new world that Apple had yet again led Humanity into. They are the pioneers. Their net worth alone speaks volumes on profits, if not leadership. However, it operates too on a free market principle is NOT allowed to monopolize the market. The market.....is open to all. It only needs perseverance, dedication to quality, & ingenuity, to be ahead of Apple & not as poseurs as some had attempted.
