ScamNet: Anti-Scam App (App Store Link)

Hey peeps!
Scams have became more sophisticated over the years and has evolved to happening over websites, malware and etc. Yet, I am so annoyed that ScamShield, an app that is supposed to protect us from these scams, have practically not changed since its introduction since 2021. Worst is the fact that it is still being actively promoted. I am not even sure if it's doing anything since the telcos have stepped up their game (based on IMDA). I have lost my confidence in its ability to actually protect me and my loved ones from scams.

So I ventured out to the App Store to find an alternative and came across this app called ScamNet. I have been using it for a while and it is way better than ScamShield in every way. The free tier is generous. It is ad free, blocks scam websites, ads, trackers, calls and SMS. No user account login shit at all.

I am currently on the trial period for the plus tier and have been finding it meaningful cuz there's a feature where you can set it to forward the alerts to your family members. Useful as when I install it on my parents phone, I can call to check up on them when I receive such alerts from them.

It already has a high App Store rating and personally, I do feel satisfied.
Do give it a try and share your thoughts!
