With the soaring prices of HDB flats, is it still possible to get a resale flat @ below $300k ?

Which area ?

4 bedrm......getting lesser now, price is going up and only the damn old flats are at those price. U can see at least 20 yrs above. Mind u these are usually units most people will not want to stay unless bopiah....like face carpk, face rubbish collection point , next to mrt or seriously old condition.

I want to rent it out leh. Those areas you listed got potential or not ? What's the rate for 4-room flat these days ? I'm quite ok with Woodlands St 81; I think it's near the CC.

Actually I don't mind a 3-room flat if it's at Bras Basah Complex, Bain Street.

Changi Village 3-room is another area I don't mind. But it may be difficult to rent it out.

You can only get 2-room flats at around SGD 300,000 nowadays. You can try searching for 2-room flats in the following areas:

Lower Delta Rd
Telok Blangah Dr
Jln Klinik
Havelock Rd
Jln Bt Ho Swee
Beo Cres

2-room flats are Moh Guan Terrace traded at around SGD 450,000. But these are bigger, about 67 sq m.

If you really want to buy HDB flats, better hurry up.
With central banks around the world pumping liquidity into their economies, inflationary pressures are going to creep in soon, even with declining growth.
It's a crazy world, going forward.
 
No aware that 2 room flats going for so high.
Knew someone who bought a 2 room flat in crawford street opposite golden mile to rent out daily rates to Thai ladies on social visit pass.
He paid the record equalling price of $245k back then for a 2 room falt sales (slightly over one year ago).
Now he packs up to 8 Thai ladies everyday in his flat for a daily rate of $12 per person per night.
But buying 2 room flat there is a income ceiling of $2k so only poor sinkies will qualify.
