SINGAPORE - A Nanyang Technological University (NTU) undergraduate has been accused of sexually harassing female students online, reported The Straits Times.
The 22-year-old man is believed to be a second-year student at NTU's Wee Kim Wee School of Information and Communication.

The case came to light after a fellow coursemate posted a note on Facebook on Tuesday evening, warning others about the man.
She alleged that he had sexually harassed her and at least four other female students last December. She also claimed other girls had fallen victim to the man as early as last August.
The note was later removed but copies of it had already gone viral through email.
Police are investigating.
An NTU spokesperson confirmed the incident and said the school is assisting police in their investigations.
According to media sources, the man had approached the students online and chatted with them via Facebook. The victims were not friends with the man, but they recognised him as a senior at the school.
During his conversations with them, which would typically last for at least half an hour, he would tell them that he was interning at MediaCorp, and needed help filming a new audition tape.
He also “confided” in victims to gain their trust, according to the victim’s note.
He told them about how he might lose his internship, because he filmed a work video of a female friend who accidentally exposed herself, and added that he was being threatened by her boyfriend.
The video, which required “urgent replacement”, was then shown to potential victims. The clip in question showed a girl in a tank top talking and did not contain any risque content.
Once students agreed to help, he would insist that the girl wear a low-cut top exposing her cleavage, claiming that the scene he needed to film was of a girl distracting a customer at a shop using her bust.
Under the direction of the man, one of the victims allegedly filmed the clip over video-chat service Skype, to the point where she almost completely exposed her breasts.
A check by The Straits Times with Mediacorp revealed that no such person had interned at the company.
According to reports, this is not the man's first misdemeanour. He had used another ruse last August, where he hacked into female coursemates' instant messaging accounts and chatted with their friends.
In the masquerade, he would ask the unsuspecting female victims to pose in revealing clothing or underwear, on the pretext of asking for fashion advice.
Edvantage understands that NTU has forbidden students to talk to the media regarding this matter.
But it said in an email that the school "does not condone harassment in any form, and it has reminded all students about the importance of safe and responsible behaviour, both online and offline".
