A drunken man was arrested for taking off his clothes in a coffee shop.

The drama unfolded at 7am on 25 June outside a coffee shop at Block 407 in Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10.

According to a 50 year-old clerk, known only as Mdm Huang, the middle-age man was sitting naked on the floor of the coffee shop when she went there for breakfast. He was said to be in a state of semi-consciousness.

The man is said to have taken off his red t-shirt and jeans, and rolled on the floor for about an hour.

A man at the coffee shop, known only as Mr Wu, said he believed the man was drunk. Residents of the area said the man would often go to the coffee shop to drink. He is believed to live in the area as well.

When the reporter arrived at the scene, there were already over 10 people around the man. By then, an ambulance had arrived, and the paramedics were wrapping the man up with a white sheet before taking him away.

When contacted, the police confirmed the man has been arrested.
