Another ERP Gantry?????

Yet anotther ERP gantry is coming up near the entrance towards One Raffles Quay after you exit the ECP heading towards Lau Pa Sat. There is already one at that location, yet the LTA is erected one more gantry less than 200 metres away. What is going on, there is really no reason for this gantry at all except to make us motorist pay more. Can the LTA comment on this? Already we see ERP gantries operational on Saturday in areas where there is absoloutely no traffic e.g. Fullerton and the surrouding areas. I can only see this as churning revenue and nothing else. I am really sick about this and i believe i am not alone. Gantries are popping up everywhere and operating on timings and days when i do not see any reason for them being or being in operation. Something really has to be done about this, Singaporeans are really being cornered into accepting all this without having any say at all.

it is not surprising.

more vehicles will be going in when the new financial district there is completed...all the big fat expats will drive what...why not erect a gantry and collect toll?

anyways...all these not paid by the expats...claimed from company...if i am the expat i will drive in and out every half an hour LOL...
