MSM and PAPies are highlighting these potential job lost to instill fear among Singaporeans to support their PWP.

They should just go ahead and tell this joker to fold and f**k off!

It's akin to stoking the fire, the bigger this class of businesses expand, the more "cheap" FTs we got to import to
flood our already over crowded homeland!

Message to them should be loud and clear. If they cannot innovate, automate and remain competitive, they rightly
deserve to be out of business.

PAPies should not send out the wrong message to these groups of low skill, low paying, unproductive and non
strategic business sectors that PWP is to support and ensure they remain in business!

So, it make me seriously wonder what is the real intention of PWP and whose interest PAPies have at heart with their
media blitz to highlight such cases!

I feel they should instead instill confidence by highlighting the successes of time and resource spent to attract high
value-added businesses with good paying jobs for Singaporeans.

Sadly, these media blitz gave me the impression that PAPies is agonizing over the retention of these low skill, low paying
jobs for FTs!

Agree. The dishwashing Singapore company boss is just a sweatshop boss who exploited cheap foreign labour to increase profits.
Now,the Australian boss is complaining that without cheap foreign labour ,his Singapore company will close down.Is that a threat to the PAP Govt and also to the Singaporean people ?

this is what pap are doing. let in companies to make money but never let Singaporean make money, let in a lot of foreign trash to compete with Singaporean, jam up the place and make everything so expensive.
all this businesses come only the gov and GLC make money. didn't benefit us at all! might as well don't come!!! even our own local business also addicted to low wage sweat shop operation than to increase productivity or relocate their business overseas. if a business is not contributing to Singaporeans or employ Singaporeans, but want to get foreign trash to run the sweat shop. might as well ask them fuck off from our shore. be it local or foreign investments. gov should lower the land cost and all other cost! because they are the greedy one that make it so expensive!!!!!!! lower the land cost and utilities will really help the people and the business a lot!!! people can live on lower income, businesses will have no prob filling up positions with lower pay! fucking pap!!!
