That's not true at all. The real cause of heart attacks and strokes and diabetes and even cancer is eating way too much sugar on a daily basis.
If you drink one can of 100plus or another sugar-laced drink after exercise, you will get a higher chance of a heart attack than if you did not exercise and did not drink that can of 100plus.

People take far too much sugar even if they lead sedate lives so regardless of the verdict on sugar, exercise still lessens the probability of a cardiac event.
