If you have served NS, then you are already an NSMan. Since you are not, you never did NS, so you should volunteer to show your love and devotion to the tiny dot.

Obergefreiter in the german Bundeswehr 20 years ago. Not national service? The Singapore government thought so, hence they exempted me when i got my PR status here.

German NS is for Germany mah ...no count one.

PR don't need to serve NS ...not that Sinkapore government gave you special exemption.

Volunteer for Reservist mah ...only 1 month of play a year. You can wear the uniform on July 1st to office. Maybe you get selected for NDP as well. And you definitely will be a celebrity. One day, they can have a battalion of angmos in the SAF, the first angmo battalion in Asia. You will make sinkapore proud.

Angmo eat army food ...very siong. Good experience for him. Either he will love sinkapore more or curse it and never want to remain or return.

I wonder how does MINDEF keep the PRs, especially those from Mudland and Indon, from knowing the sensitive info.
