this road is the braddell / bartley road junction with upper serangoon road, 4th mile point. if it had been a dipper truck, the angmo family can order a coffin from the coffin shophouse on the opposite side of the road.

The video is the reason why in Singapore, cyclists are forced to ride on pavements. Because unlike in Ang Moh countries, Singapore car drivers don't regard cyclists as belonging on the road, and hence it's unfairly dangerous for cyclists to cycle on Singapore roads.

Ideally of course, as long as all parties (car drivers, cyclists, pedestrians) exercise a fair amount of ethics, sympathy, empathy and decency for others, whether cyclists are on the pavement or on the road would not cause problems.

But that's a big IF, and requires willingness on the part of all 3 parties to exercise abovementioned ethics.
