speaking of HDB lift upgrading..it is well documented, the lifts are failure prone, faulty brake, power issues, etc.. i would dare the town council to publish the lift upgrading MTBF.... trust..the lift are not reliable..

The new 'upgraded' lifts are the cheaper Sigma brand lifts from China, not the Fujitec ones that are from Japan.
Sigma lifts are prone to failure and the ventilation isn't very good.
They have too much reserves, want to justify their spending by redoing things several times and than they can justify further fees hike for lack of funds.

Just another honest mistake or is someone/some group skimming $$$$$ off the top & giving "lesser mortals" an inferior product.. I also have to wonder about all those falling windows. Did someone keep the $$$ or was it really an honest mistake that the flat owns had to pay for

Contractors siphoning off construction funds with their bad materials and insufficient planning?
I thought all these hdb contractors are all "pre-qualified" to begin with....
any crony companies or companies filled with their supporters inside?

As long they have "kar gi lang" as director(s) or "connection via RC, CC, PA etc", even a $2 company like AIMED is pre-qualified.:p
hardware zone postings are traceable by the administrators.
they will just hand over all details to their bosses at the SPH.
i pity those dumbasses who post comments in HWZ.....
