This is brief summary :

-

Singapore will raise the retirement age and re-employment age to 65 and 70 respectively by 2030,
alongside increases in the Central Provident Fund (CPF) contribution rates for older workers.

This, announced by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Sunday (Aug 18),
comes after the Government accepted "in full" the recommendations put forward by a tripartite workgroup studying the country’s ageing workforce.

From IRAS website ::

Determining the 10-Year Withdrawal Period
You can make withdrawals from your SRS account over ten years from the date of your first penalty-free withdrawal.
Withdrawals are penalty-free only if they take place on or after the statutory retirement age (currently at 62) that was prevailing at the time of your first SRS contribution. If you have already opened an SRS account and made your first contribution, any subsequent change in the statutory retirement age (e.g. up to age 65) will not affect you (i.e. you can still begin your first penalty-free SRS withdrawal when you reach age 62).

That is what Singaporeans voted for.. Work until old age.. In other countries, old pple relax and enjoy life... And... If u work and can't retired yet.. Can u withdraw yuour cpf? How? U must achieve certain amount or else u can't withdraw it.. That certain amount.. Does it keep increasing?

The key thing is not about caring about what age u have to work.. It is about not wanting you to take out your cpf.. So based on that.. They adjust your retirement age..
