ALERT: Robbery in broad day light by rider on M'sia registered motorcycle

Just heard thru the grapevine that there was a daylight robbery in the Bedok area yesterday.

Lady went to draw money from a nearby ATM, then drove home. She was robbed when she alighted from the car that she was driving to open the front gate. The robber is an ah neh ridding a M'sia registered motorbike. Apparently, the robber was hanging around the ATM, monitoring, and choosing targets. Maybe the lady was chosen as a target because she was alone.

The people in the area recalled that for the past few nights, they heard quite a few motorcycles moving around in the area, which was quite unusual.

Just post this so that you and your family will be more alert and careful.

we have severe penalties for firearm offences. we can also have severe penalties for snatch theft, with triple penalties for non-singaporean offenders.
