Got a harmony 525 & Marantz RC 2000 Mk 2 universal remotes I hardly use because I got tired of replacing the batteries :(

Using the original remote of my aircon, TV & fan will last long, long time but those fancy learnable remotes go through batteries. I tried using rechargeable batteries but those type of batteries got no staying power.

Better keep the original remotes handy
