Xi Jinping pointed out that the world today is undergoing a major change in the past 100 years, the global governance system has been profoundly reshaped, and the international structure has accelerated. China and Japan have more and more common interests and common concerns. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and Japan has also entered the era. We must work together to build Sino-Japanese relations that meet the requirements of the new era, so that China-Japan relations become an important positive factor in safeguarding world peace and promoting common development.

Xi Jinping emphasized that the two sides should always abide by the principles established in the four political documents of China and Japan, and implement the political consensus that China and Japan "mutually partners and do not pose threats", enhance mutual trust, and promote Sino-Japanese relations along peace. The right track of friendship and cooperation continues to move forward. It is necessary to deepen cooperation in a wide range of fields such as economy and trade, investment, third-party markets, and technological innovation, create new points of cooperation growth, and actively lead regional economic integration. We welcome Japanese companies to actively expand cooperation with China and share new opportunities for China's development. The joint construction of the “Belt and Road Initiative” has opened up a vast world for mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Japan, and welcomes the active participation of the Japanese side. The two sides should tighten the humanities ties, strengthen exchanges between the youths of the two countries, and promote mutual understanding between the two peoples. I agree with the launch of the Sino-Japanese high-level foreign exchange consultation mechanism during the year. It is necessary to discuss constructively control contradictions and differences through dialogue and dialogue, strengthen dialogue in the diplomatic and security fields, and build constructive bilateral security relations. It is hoped that the Japanese side will abide by the consensus and commitments so far, properly handle sensitive issues such as history, and jointly safeguard peace and stability in the East China Sea. China and Japan should strengthen communication, coordination and cooperation in international and regional affairs to jointly address global challenges and promote global governance to be more just and reasonable. The Chinese side supports the Japanese side to run the G20 summit in Osaka and expects the summit to issue a clear voice of maintaining multilateralism and free trade, and injecting stable expectations and momentum into the world economic development.
