The sport of cricket is the litmus test when it comes to distinguishing between local Indians and India Indians. 100% accurate test.

The litmus test is that most of the local Indians know how to say "please, thank you, sorry, excuse me" etc.

I have never heard an Indian from India (i.e. not been living in some other country like Malaysia or USA) use any of those words.

Even some of the Bangladesh shipyard and construction workers have picked up these words. Unfortunately, the "executive type foreign talent" from India have not.
