Those people who tend to aged faster need not fear.

I give a true life encounter and I believe this is pretty common.
When I was in late 20s, i look like a tertiary student. my bff who is same age as me look like 40s
when we went foot massage, the auntie thought that I'm his son, father bring son for foot reflexology :*:
When I was in mid 30s, i look like mid 20s fresh grads. my bff look like 40s .
when we went bkk cheong, the girls ask why daddy brought me to this type of place :*:

I think is people who look younger than what they are when they are younger tend to age faster towards 40 to 50s a d people who aged fast when they are young will start to maintain it. I have also seen a number of other cases.

Believe it or not, because of my well above average height (roughly 6 feet 2 inches or 188 cm) since I was 15 or 16 (Sec. 3 or 4) and my deep voice, a mid-20s man thought I was 25 when I was 18; and when I reached 25, a 40-year-old man thought I was also 40! :*: :o

it was when close to mid 40s i suddenly aged by 20 yrs. i believe the 3k living statue job did a great harm to me emotionally.

There is a subtle difference between appearing old vs appearing mature. People with lower IQ tend NOT to notice the difference and will not hesitate to associate maturity with being old. Normally a knowledgeable man will appear mature, but those Tham Bye Kia who cannot tell the difference between apple and orange will construe that as old.

Most of the time your assessment of your appearance is based on what people around you tell you. Don't trust them. If you are handsome chances are your male friends will be quick to convince you that you look old. It's jealously at work with the objective of dismantling your self confidence. When they succeed and inferiority complex creeps in, your male friends will feel more at ease in your presence.

I agree to a certain extent. Not every ah pek can classify as mature. Those skinny skinny frail ones and fattie ones how to be mature . They will look sickly and old.
