Again Singapore Law allow rich car owners to kill and murder anyone with the lowest punishment of just 5 yrs. Go tell Judge honestly in face oso can

I read a few articles on this case, and they all seemed to have copied one another's report. This Kovan Tan, a 27-year old, appeared from nowhere in the events leading to the accident. It started with (Jarrett) Tee and (Vincent) Loh in separate cars, and Loh picked up two 16-year old girls. And the deceased (Lim) and her 16-year old boyfriend joined them subsequently.

At this point, there was no mention of the motorcycle. Together, they were playing "blocking and braking" in two separate cars driven by Tee and Loh.

Then the motorcycle suddenly appeared in the report:

Mr Tan (Kovan Tan, 27) was introduced into the story at this point, and he was already riding a bike. Mr Tan is NOT the boyfriend of the deceased. The boyfriend was 16 years old and at the time of the accident he was travelling in Tee's car.

Where and how did this Mr Tan appear ?
If those leeports were correct to a certain extent , it means Ms Lim was 2 timing with a 16yo and a 27yo bf.
The 16yo doesn't have a motosikal so Ms Lim followed the 27yo bf as pillion?

Anyway all of them are jlbs.
Maybe becos of this the judge just give Tee a light sentence as all of them are trouble makers to the world.

Which legislation are you referring to ?
When I stated that Jarrett should have been imprisoned for at least 10 years, given 5 strokes of the cane and banned from driving for life, I indicated a desirable or expected outcome. That is the meaning of "should have". Do you understand now?

I don't think Ms Lim was two-timing. I applied your patented "Art of Clear-Mindedness" and arrived at the following conclusions:

1. Tee's ego was inflated by the rented Mercedes Benz + the fact that he was an NUS undergraduate at the time
2. Tee was attracted to Ms Lim and wanted to impress her
3. Tee invited Ms Lim and her boyfriend to a ride on his car. The boyfriend accepted but Ms Lim chose the car of Vincent which is not a Benz (1st rejection)
4. Then the motorcycle came into the picture, and again, Ms Lim chose the humble motorcycle instead of Tee's rented Mercedes Benz (2nd rejection)
5. Tee could not take the repeated rejections and wanted to embarrass Ms Lim by making "the motorcycle fly"

This explains why Tee said after the accident:

If my guess is correct, Kovan Tan who rode the motorcycle must be good-looking. This is why Ms Lim chose Kovan Tan instead of Tee. Coincidentally, Tee in Hokkien means Pig.

Now you have the fully story. Thanks to @sbfuncle 's patented "Art of Clear-Mindedness". :roflmao:

Ms Lim's BF must have testified in court about Tee's words and actions that ultimately did him in. Jarett Tee will have no future after this unless he does a deed poll to change his name.

Wtf don't anyhow use my state of the art clear mind and create storlees OK, although it may sound convincing

How you explain about the 16yo xdd bf?

She is 18 and the official bf is 16. So she is in control. She is not in a relationship with Kovan Tan, the rider who is 27.

I don't anyhow use your patented art of clear-mindedness, ok ?

I put it to good use in my workplaces to solve many unconventional issues that many handymen encounter.

Although is a storlee but it does connect the dots.

Way to go buddy, let's make this world a wiser place

He rented the car so not any white horse.
I believe the sentence was light becos the victim was the one that agreed to race with him.
Racing and bumping the bike with a car are two different things.

Agreed.
But since the fattie wasn't a white horse, I believe the light sentencing has something to do with the victims ownself were racers and losers, although it may not be the full consideration.
When they want to be a ileegal racer, they must be prepared to die (with a clear minded application)
If the victims were just a random road users, I think the sentencing would have been different .

This type of evil farker minimum should be given death sentence.

Did Jarett Tee believe that his actions would not result in the death or serious injury of the deceased? He even stated that the victim deserved to die for annoying him. Then he should be sodomised and rot in jail for causing her death.

Again, I applied your patented Art of Clear-Mindedness.

You have to blame the prosecution, not the judge.

He was charged under section 64(6)(a) of the Road Traffic Act which carries a maximum sentence of 8 years. He was sentenced to 5 years and 8 months, which is not a light sentence relative to the section that he was charged.

You cannot sentence more than what is permitted under the charge. And you cannot discuss the justice of sentencing decisions without reference to the relevant charges.

So the clear minded question is to ask why didn't the prosecution charge him under Penal Code for Culpable Homicide ?

The one no horse run for you to dig out that the Prosecutor was the one that only charged him with rta.

But I believe it is the same Lee son that the Prosecutor thinks that the victims needed to be prepared to die when they started the racing challenge.
Hence the Prosecutor just issued him a rta charge.

No, it's because of plea bargaining.

If the prosecution were to charge him under the Penal Code which carries a far heavier sentence than RTA, the Accused would definitely defend. Like Iswaran's case, there is a litigation risk when the case goes to trial.

So if the prosecution can achieve a 5 to 8 years jail sentence with a risk-free plea of guilty (RTA) which will save plenty of court time, both for the prosecution and the judge, why take the risk of going to trial for (culpable homicide) a 10-15 years sentence which outcome is not cast in stone ?

So I believe the prosecution is also applying your patented art of clear-mindedness. :roflmao:

That's pure laziness from the Prosecutor and not clear minded at all.
That's why IMHO they did this as they also think the victims deserved to die. Just that they dare not say it out only.
