It is bewildering to find lots of Singaporean men still have medieval views of "wife material" type of concepts. I find most of their brains still rooted in a "typewriter" mindset while they carry the latest models of Iphone or Androids. It is ironic when you try to reconcile them.

ok, not all but a majority of women who wanted to have children (eventually) would start to panic at 39 or in their early 40s. the pattern is so repetitious and predictable that it's becoming a law of genetics, if not physics. all single women in their 40s i know except 1 exhibit the same wish. the exception cannot conceive and plans to adopt. you may be different in attitude in your early 30s just like the women i know when they are younger, but i'm speaking from anecdotal evidence that a sense of diminishing chances sets in with the first wrinkle. :p
