Yemen's Houthi "slippers army" is really astonishing. It has sunk TWO cargo ships so far using a combination of drones and missiles attacks.
Houthis claimed that these ships were carrying cargos meant for Israel.
It was also reported that Israel bombarded Houthis while they retaliated. It was also said that Israel sent in a squadron of commandos to hunt down the leader of Houthis but failed. Some of the Israelis soldiers were killed while others were captured.
It's going to be extremely challenging for Israel.

Former Japanese Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Kazuhiro Haraguchi just shared analysis of his cancer cells:
“This is an analysis of my cancer cells.
Even two years after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, spike proteins were found in the malignant lymphoma.
Conversely, N proteins were not detected. This indicates that I had not been infected with COVID-19.”
We must put an end to the tragedies caused by the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible.

Moaning the Loss of the Intellect Leader with Great Integrity & Moral Courage
We fought against Potential Harm on very different sides. Prof Gabriel Oon was a member of the establishment while I am in opposition politics. But we fought for the common Public Health Interests in our own ways.
When I was questioning the effectiveness and safety aspects of the mRna COVID vaccines via the preliminary data analysis, Prof Gabriel Oon led a small group of doctors to raise their cobcerns over these vaccines via their professional opinion and judgement.
Prof Gabriel Oon would have more weight in his views as he was the important expert who had overseen the first primary vaccination program for Singaporeans in the 1970s.
Safety is of utmost importance for him because lives are at stake.
MOH came down hard on him and his group of doctors and almost all of them withdrew their names from the public statement under tremendous pressures. The only left were those retired doctors like himself.
He stood firm on his Core Values, with great Intellectual Integrity, Moral Courage and disregard the smearing and reputational threats thrown at him.
We have lost a Fearless fighter who had shown great dedication towards the safety and public health interests of Singaporeans. Only Time and History will give Prof Gabriel Oon the appropriate accolades which he deserved. A Fearless Gentleman with great Intellectual Integrity and Moral Courage, to do the right things, say the right things, defend public health interests and point out the obvious inconvenient Truth.
Rest In Peace.

truly a humble servant of god... no wreaths and donations to church...

may god and karma deliver justice and just desserts to those who violate the "do no harm" principle...

The Houthis Slippers Army has basically brought Israelis port down to its knees via blockade of Red Sea.
This is actually an extremely important lesson for Singapore. We are both blessed and cursed by our "strategic location" positioned at the tip of the Malaya Peninsula.
A simple blockage or closure of the Strait of Malaca will just destroy us economically.
We must understand our vulnerability and strength, most importantly our vital circumstances. We will need to maintain peaceful diplomatic engagement and enhance ASEAN and peace within. We can't afford any war at all.

China has finally announced its plan to build the Biggest Hydro Power dam in Tibet. This hydro power dam will produce 3 times the power produced by SanXia dam.
However this planned dam may affect downstream countries like India and Bangladesh.
The construction of the dam will cost trillions of dollars.
The multiplier effect of this project is huge but cost to the ecological system is substantial as well.

This is an interesting and rare insights on the encounters of French Navy Aircraft Carrier battle strike group in South China Sea.
China's Liao Ning Aircraft Carrier isn't the most advance among the 3 aircraft carriers China has now. China's fourth aircraft carrier which is expected to be nuclear powered, is under construction and expected to be operational ready by 2030.

All thanks to Minister Shanmugam! Now China has reduced Visa Free for Singapore passport from 30 days to 15 days!
Shanmugam made a statement and named a hacker group that our media went on to insinuate it is related or sponsored by Chinese government on 18 Jul 2025.
Chinese Government issued a notice on 23 Jul 2025 to reduce visa free visit for Singapore passport holders from 30 days to 15 days!
Shanmugam boleh!

Nuclear Power - Small Modular Reactor
PAP GOV is adamant in building nuclear plant in Singapore under the context of "Clean Energy".
Such context is based on a totally skewed narrative of "decarbonization" without taking into context of the hazardous nuclear waste produced by the nuclear reactor.
SMR are used in nuclear powered Military vessels like aircraft carriers and submarines. However the cost of maintaining these SMRs is extremely high.
Conversion of these SMRs to civilian usage was carried out with a narrative of "lower construction cost", "safer", "clean", "power unit cost of energy after taking in other intrinsic costing" etc.
However, the ultimate test is, if it is so safe, will the Prime Minister and Ministers willing to locate their houses right next to such SMR? Most importantly, will electricity tariffs CHEAPER than conventional oil or gas powered electricity?
For those hard seller of SMRs, they will even make claims that SMRs are so safe that it just need 1km of safety boundary!
The issue of SMR is more complex and complicated. One of the SMR project in US was called off due to high costing issue with low subscription.
The US SMRs are very costly but Chinese built SMRs are much cheaper. Are we going to use the Chinese SMRs?
Land size constraint is the critical issue here. Even if we built this SMR in Tekong island, the additional cost and maintaining the cabling to transfer the electricity to our mainland will add to the issue of costing.
Besides a typical SMR produces less than 300 megawatts of power. How many do we need?
Last but not least, we need local Singaporeans to run such critical infrastructure. We have such human resources?
