All time high of 17,648 new units sold in 2010
Yup, 2010 is a boom year for Singapore property!
According to URA's latest figures for new private residential units sold in December, a total of 1,332 units have been sold, excluding Executive Condominiums (ECs).
Add up all the 12 months of 2010 and you get a crazy 17,648 new units sold!
Phew! No wonder we were hit by a series of cooling measures last week!
If you include ECs sold in December, the total jumps even higher to 1,699.
As of November, we saw 15,985 private units (including ECs) sold (which already broke the record). Add December’s transactions in and we have a whopping 17,648 units! Exclusive of ECs, that’s 15,281 + 1,332 = 16,613 units! Amazing!
Let’s look at the most popular condos last month:
Prive (EC), at Punggol Field, 326 units sold
The Tennery, at Bukit Panjang, 220 units sold
D’Leedon, along Farrer Road, 180 units sold
Robinson Suites, at Robinson Road, 157 units sold
December has also seen some activity prices in the Orchard area.
Here are some of the highest prices:
Ritz-Carlton Residences Singapore Cairnhill- $4,307 psf
Nassim Park Residences- $3,833 psf
Tomlinson Heights- $3,643
Robinson Suites - $3,550 psf
The Laurels- $3,489 psfgl
