Putting a motorbike on top of songthaew - I've seen these many times in the villages esp. when going from one town to another. 2-3 guys will lift and tie the bike securely on top. Since this is friendly country, often times, passengers will help too. All sorts of things go up on top - I've seen sewing machines, kitchen sinks, even a toilet bowl once. Of course Pattaya is not a village so unusual sight maybe.
2 pillion on motosai - I've done this a few times esp in Pattaya. Cannot be 2 guys though haha and hopefully the lady is "selim selim". In the villages,common to see entire families (with shopping) on one motobike - father, mother + 2 kids. They put their shopping on special carriers in front or just hang from handlebars. Scary to watch but TIT.

Page 10 is a boutquish hotel, convenient on 2nd road (5 mins walk to Central Festival). Going now for thb1.7k incl not bad buffet bf. High season going for 2.3k. Kns, got this LB receptionist with super duper service (I mean check-in last evening hor):owhere u are staying now is a gem. hehehe. dont pichar lobang hor...lets me for dinner if you are available.
Not faintest idea where to makan. Let's do some pints too hehe. Buzz you in 5

Tilapia can be not deep fried but simply steamed. However because its a fresh water fish a lot of herbs and spices will help to cover the fishy smell so in Thailand this is not a problem with the famous Thai herbs, lemongrass crushed and stuffed inside the fish will be great.
yes, page 10 is a very nice hotel, and new too. when i went to patt last yr, page 10 was still renovating/not open to public. thats why i settle for see me spring 2, which is in front of page 10.. both are at soi 10 (or is it 12?)
this round, actually i'm going back see me spring 2, but after looking at ur photos, i might consider changing hotel
