Sounds good if you look at the 40% voted for Alternative Parties.
But only 6 good Guys are voted into the parliament.
Some people in this forum are right that why 81 PAP MPs are not speaking up for their voters ?
Public transport and expensive HDB flats issues are still on the round table , why only the Alternative parties are making noises after GE ? And they are not winning seats .
Alternative parties should give opportunity to elected PAP MPs to speak up for their voters, encourage people on the ground to let their PAP MPs debate good policies for the people at parliament .
Parliament is a world for 87 and not a world for a few ..
If elected PAP MPs cannot debate or keep quiet or absent at the parliament, their voters should give Alternative party members a chance next GE !
What they say is true, Alternative parties must play a different politics these days, let the mandate carry the responsibility , they have to know what they are voting for !
The next time alternative parties members got a chance to talk about it in the papers, just say PAP MPs who are elected by the voters should speak up for the people and not just sneering at Alternative views !
Please also remind the PAP voters that PAP MPs are elected to form policies , voters must assess their performance at the parliament.
