I think the Italians will able to cope with the Amazon heat.. They did well in the searing heat of Mexico in 1970.. And they went all the way to the Final in USA 94.. Temperatures in Italy can be quite hot too in the summer..

Yes, Beckham touched him and of course, Simeone simulated the severity of the injury.
Batistuta even winked after the red card was shown.
England is not savvy enough to win big tournaments, the players usually impetuous and a bit gonggong type................... :o

I remembered Campbell's disallowed goal.. That game made Owen into a global superstar and converted Beckham into a national Pariah..

To be fair to Goldenballs, he redeemed himself well after that World Cup debacle.. Went on to win the Champs League with Utd and was hugely instrumental in sending England into the 2002 World Cup finals with that last gasp free kick against Greece..

I wish I had your optimism but frankly speaking, apart from Rooney, they don't have a World Class player (and even he doesn't perform at Euros or WCs).
Hardworking teams don't translate into successful teams, you need talented individuals who can play collectively as a team like Spain and Germany.

England don't play well as a team and will always be known for choking at penalty shoot-outs.
Players from the English Premiership who cannot beat a goalie from 12 yards.

Such is the Jekyll and Hyde character of Mr Suárez, one minute he'll be doing a "Thierry Henry", the next, he'll be scoring a wonder goal...
