The number of Singaporeans living abroad has risen sharply over the past decade, with Australia, UK, US and China being the main draws as of June this year. The figure represents a 27% increase from 157,100 in 2003.

Most are between 20 and 54 years old, with slightly more women than men, stated the Population in Brief 2012 Report published by the National Population and Talent Division.

Immigration expert Leong Chan Hoong said the number of overseas Singaporeans was "quite significant", especially for a small cuntry like SG. They comprised 6.1% of the 3.29 million citizens in Singapore as of June.

Singapore's leaders have signalled concern about the number of citizens for some time. In 2008, PM Lee revealed that bout 25% of our top A-level students who go overseas to study or work did not return. This reduces the talent pool for political renewal, he said.

Well done PAP! Yet another golden age where more and more serfs can be emancipated by ability. More proof that the slave state's robust policies produce economically active new citizens contributing to dole-addicted bums in First World nations! Peasantpore is truly the cradle of civilization well worth emulating!

Bro, I am one of those. I dutifully fly back to attend rallies, support the opposition in whatever small that I could [such as buying their publications & flags] and cast my vote accordingly whenever there is opportunity to do so.

I love Singapore. That is why I am doing so.

Unless I had got it wrong, I thought it was the PAP morons who thinks that the common Sinkies are low class beings?
