20-year-old man charged with theft from NUS hostel

A young man was charged in a district court on Friday with stealing a total of $705 from a student at a hostel.
Acer Wong Kum Inn, 20, allegedly stole US$500 (S$625) and $80 from Mr Adas Bradauskas at University Town NUS at Kent Ridge Road on Aug 17.
He was arrested at his Boon Lay home on Thursday following extensive follow-up investigations and ground enquiries by Clementi police officers.
Bail of $10,000 was offered.
