A UK MP draws an annual salary of around £65,000 ($130,000)
David Cameron earns £144,000 ($288,000)

LHL earns over 10x more than Putin.

For all the naysayers about LTY, you have your day... You forgot he increased the no of buses and bus routes, increased the train frequencies, which greatly reduced congestion in the buses and trains.. To blame him for the train breakdowns is just plain childish and naive.. He inherited the system that was not well taken care of by his predecessors and tried his best to meet the needs of Singaporeans.. He did not fail us... It was us who expected perfection in a system that was never going to be and will never be perfect.
Since you guys wanted him out, perhaps can nominate on of the WPs MPs to the job, see how well or whether they have the guts to take on the job!

I was thinking the same. His many attempt to porlumpar after lky funeral and his conspicuous absence during the visits by dignitaries to the wake is telling.
