Don't forget your initial question is 'Anyone tried?' The answer is no one here will be stupid enough to consider such a product for personal use.
As many have mentioned, this product is not even practical to be used in the first place by normal consumers which is why you don't see any reviews at all.
The only possible use and consideration for something remotely similar will be by a commercial entity who set up a field camping area called Glamping with multiple tents to provide camping services as they will be able to get lay all the cables to each tent to power up the aircon. These services are from the Glamping Society which is common in beaches like East Coast Park, Pasir Ris Park and Punggol Container Park. But then it requires approval from the National Parks Board (NParks), which manages these sites, and the Energy Market Authority (EMA) for electrical safety compliance. Plans will need to be submitted detailing cable routes, power ratings, type of cables used (e.g. rated for outdoor use) and safety measures (e.g., RCD protection) to NParks and EMA. Inspections ensure compliance with the Singapore Electrical Standard Code of Practice, requiring professional electricians. But then these companies will go for commercial grade products which are more durable with much higher BTU rating instead of such cheapo China-made products with no warranty LOL.
Hence it goes back to the same question again,
So who the fark buys this and use in a small sleeping tent in SG and then still need to buy another portable generator to power it? and best part is, now with your new switch answer....
