That is a pretty low number considering all the drama associated with Covid-19.
The 2018-2019 flu season caused more than 42 MILLION symptomatic infections in the USA alone.
The death toll was in excess of 70,000 but I do not recall any shutdowns then. The media didn't make much of a fuss about it either.
