I do not mind travelling alone. Perhaps when I do it, I will need to book those budget double bed bunk to avoid living alone in an eerie hotel room.

I remember a colleague who travels alone as he is a bachelor in his 50s. He loves photography and it is this hobby which gives him something to do in the absence of a travel partner/spouse. However, he admits to extreme loneliness at times.
