I read this as a success for the people who voted against PAP. They know they cannot increase too much if not get fuck deep deep more. But on the other hand they cannot lose face since they already announced they need to increase. So die die must increase a little. But look at another way what is 1% to them, hey they are not use to increase so little. So their fucking fuck face especially that Liu Fuck You fucking horse face cannot lose face.

It has something to do with the Presidential Election also.

When PTC implement the by distance charges, it was announced that it helps to cut down your transportation by a certain percentage.

So far, I have not benefit from it, where is my saving?

Now, don't be fool by the mere 1% increase? I won't be surprise if my transportation cost goes up by 10% because I am once again the "unlucky" few that happens to fall into the bad category of users.

Times are bad and everyone but those PAP buggers know this.

Only the other day I've noticed another 2 stalls closing at my neigbhourhood makan place. They join 1 other stall that has been closed for months. Another stall is struggling as they have changed the the type of food they serve. This is in one of the more affluent estates.

Looks like the PAP hasn't learned anything from the last GE. Next GE I expect to see more of them unemployed:rolleyes:

I agree with Bro Hairylee.. These PAP scums won't want to do something stupid big time especially when the Presidential election is around the corner..

But when the Presidential election is done and dusted, rest assured that those scums in white will screw Sporeans as usual.... and PAP normal service will resume operations once again as usual..

PM LHL has said that his party policies will not changed...more bitter pills soon!

Increase more and you make noise, don't increase and you say lose face. PAP says "win-win situation" for commuters and for transport companies.

The least you can say is thank you PAP for your kindness not to increase. You trade in for latest $1000+ iphone and you don't complain, but 1 cent increase you complain.

As I said before, transport companies are not charitable organisations - only WP wanted to treat it as such. But who pays in the end - the tax-payers - you and I - who will subsidise all the FTs who take public transport!

Hasn't it already been reported in the "official" press that the transportation companies are already making record profits of hundred of millions of $$$ in profit:confused:

Why should passengers subsidize the PAP owned transportation companies:confused:
Especially when there's overcrowding & long waiting times
