My affair partner (M55) and I (F28) were caught last week - funny thing is, his wife believes it wasn’t an affair, he was able to convince her that I was his friend who became a bit too obsessed and how his wife thinks I’m stalking/harassing him, nevertheless she told me never to contact them again or she would call the police (I listened)

The thing is, he told me I was the love of his life, he promised me after she found out that he wouldn’t throw me away, that he loved me and would still always be there for me, she then blocked me on his phone and he hasn’t reached out since, it’s been a week and I am beyond destroyed and heart broken!

I know it’s likely she’s tracking his phone, but if he wanted to he would right? How can he tell me on Monday that he loves me, I’m so important to him, I’m his best friend, and on Tuesday he just cuts me off like it never happened!

I don’t think I will ever get over this, I know I’m guilty for falling in love with a married man (the cliche of he hated his wife and wanted to leave her) but I loved him with every fibre of my heart and soul, and he told me the same!

I’m too scared to even reach out to him because I know his wife will twist it into harassment, but every day is killing me a little bit more!
