【on.cc東網專訊】由李國寶出任主席兼行政總裁的東亞銀行，繼上月發生3年來第二度「死機」故障後，今日(14日)又搞出個「大烏龍」，優惠回贈為原有金額的100倍，等同向客戶派錢！東亞銀行客戶爆料說，該行銀行一個網上信用卡推廣計劃中，發生回贈出錯，回贈金額較原有大增，讓客戶得到過萬至過十萬不等的回贈，事件導致不少客戶吃驚，嘆說「得個睇字又唔使得！」形容該銀行「離晒譜」，促當局正視。東亞銀行證實出錯並向受影響客戶道歉。
讀者陳先生表示，早前參與東亞銀行的網上結餘轉戶計劃，利用信用卡透過網上銀行償還10萬港元貸款，原本應該獲回贈5000港元手續費及300港元現金，怎料昨日(13日)卻發現戶口出現50萬港元及3萬港元的現金回贈，數字驚人如同嚇死人。他斥東亞銀行「離晒譜」，銀行可以自行收回該筆額外的金錢，「呢啲錢又唔係我，都冇得使」，反而對於東亞銀行造成的不便，感到不滿。
陳先生又透露，從社交平台看到不少相關客戶都發生同樣事情，有人直言：「有咁多Credit入番戶口，正呀！」亦有其他客戶叮囑大家小心，因為吞侵財產是很危險的事。
東亞銀行回覆時承認失誤，指信用卡網上結餘轉戶/繳稅計劃在計算回贈時出現誤差，致有個別客戶收到多於計劃回贈。該行知悉事件後已即時修正，對客戶造成不便致歉。
東亞銀行上月9日因電腦故障，導致全港多達17間分行「冧檔」癱瘓，未能提供櫃位服務，包括存取外幣或打印收據等，該行當日於網站稱，由於網絡不穩定，導致部分分行未能提供櫃位服務。該行當晚回覆傳媒查詢表示，據初步調查，事件起因是網絡設備故障引致，客戶資料並無受影響。部分分行中午前陸續恢復櫃位服務，對事故造成客戶不便致歉。
