Came across an article in the Chinese papers zaobao about 2nd property that investor are holding. Indicate they are having difficulty paying the mortgage, as being unable to rent out the unit. There are some that have not rent out for even 1 year, but need to continue with the loan payment. Even mentioned that some are not able to return the 2 months deposit when the rental contract is due.

Is this the state of things to come as more properties become complete and further depress rental. It is going to be tough if a family is paying 2 or more mortgage, one staying in, and the other, to rent out.. After all, there was no TDSR prior to the tightening of loans, and the best situation is as describe at that point of time. But now in seems the table has turned.

What is going to happened next when interest rate starts to rise, with 2 or more mortgage. Really no eyes see.

I think they will also consider the fact that they will need to pay a 7+3 (%) for the additional stamp fees. Or 10% more, even before getting the unit or staying in.

For a place at 1000k, that is 100k.
A lot if you ask me..........
