A Chinese Singaporean woman, 25, was slashed to death and her body parts gouged out or torn out, and flung out of a 14th storey window in Block 633 Jurong West Street 65.
Her Chinese Singaporean boyfriend, 38, was arrested at the scene and will be charged in court for murder today.

The couple had moved into the flat, which they shared with three others, in January and had been heard quarrelling throughout the evening before gruesome murder was discovered.

Crimes of passion now very common in Singapore. It just shows that there are many sick people around but their sickness does not manifest itself until it is too late.

Yes I believe so. In domestic quarrels it is hard for onlookers to interfere. A party need to make a police report before action can be taken.

Quarrel is quarrel. How can SPF arrest people for quarreling? Police duty is only to stop quarreling and affray. You want a NK or Burma style police state? After SPF left and they killed each other, is it SPF fault? Murder is murder. Then can SPF take action to arrest and charge the murderer. Law by law. Comprendez?
