Polytechnic graduate unable to find full time employment, ends up working as part-time cashier

I used to go out with colleagues consists of only 1 or at most 2 jhks for lunch in a group of about 5 or 6 sinkies. Now I am seeing group of jhks lunching or dining together totally no sinkies. I can't believe this is happening.
It has happened for 14 straight years already. Are you new sinkies or what?
 
Only the ones who are at the top of their service will get parachuted into politics. If you are merely an inspector, colonel or some middling rank, forget it.
I suggest that you read my previous post again carefully. I was referring to scholars who are good at rote learning who should sign on in the SAF or SPF. I was not referring to run-of-the-mill degree holders.

Local scholars are excellent at rote learning. That is why they make decisions that frustrate the general populace, lose tons of money in ill-advised investments and have absolutely no idea of the profit motive.

SINGAPORE: After applying to more than 150 jobs, AN, a 24-year-old computer science graduate, found herself in a dilemma familiar to many fresh graduates – hold out for a stable job, or consider an internship that pays less but promises a few months of industry experience.

With no offers in hand despite months of effort, she took on a part-time data role paying S$1,000 (US$780) a month while continuing to apply. After half a year of searching, she landed a full-time software developer job in September.
