The High SES retirees spend almost everyday at their private country and town clubs to read, watch movies on their iPads, on their laptops, swimming, working out at the gym, watching a movie at the cinema, bowling and having their meals there. The Low SES doze off at the public libraries or enjoy free aircon at the shopping malls or Changi Airport.

If its me I stay at home, on aircon, enjoy my own Nespresso kopi with sour dough roti with unsalted butter. :laugh:

Yeah, it's true. I have high SES friends and their relatives are like that..country club daily.

If you own a GCB like Iswaran, serving a prison sentence at home is like being ordered to stay inside Raffles Town Club for a few months with full access to all its facilities like restaurants, gym, swimming pool, tennis court, theatre etc.

The bigger is the premises, the more cleaning up to do and the more rubbish that one doesnt need gets accumulated. And when you die, your descendants curse and swear at you because they have lots of things to throw away and also cleaning up the mess you created.

I go to either RTC or Tanglin Club to work remotely for 2 days a week. I start at 8:30 am, have lunch at 12 noon, resume work at 1 pm and end my day at 6 pm with a swim or gym workout before heading home for dinner.

Ask HDB to build BTO flats at Ridout Road, you don't feel hot and high humidity by living there.
Or ask garment to bring in few more millions of CECA Indians, as black absorbs heat, so you would feel cooler if you are not black.

If only I were high SES, can go to country club to enjoy the aircon. Instead, I go to aircon bus interchange, go for rides on aircon buses. Does anyone know if CCs have free aircon room I can use?
