[Video] - Imagine if rapidly aging Singapore became like this as temperatures continue to rise due to global warming!

If only I were high SES, can go to country club to enjoy the aircon. Instead, I go to aircon bus interchange, go for rides on aircon buses. Does anyone know if CCs have free aircon room I can use?
I notice lots of elderly hanging out at Changi Airport, public libraries, food courts, shopping malls etc. for the free aircon. Seniors staying with their adult children in my condo, spend the day mostly at the reading room enjoying the a/c or in the swimming pool.

Thanks for the information. I will take bus to Changi Airport, lepak there for a few hours. Then the next day, will do a public library and so on.

Even wealthy retirees try to save money in various way whenever possible. No matter how warm and humid the weather is, my parents refuse to turn on the aircon even during my weekly visits. We would all sit in the living room with only the ceiling fan on in their landed home!

Remember that sleeping on the sofa is prohibited in all public libraries. I guess many seniors have been dozing off there with the aircon making those seats far too comfortable; especially in a quiet indoor space.

Yes, will die die not fall asleep in the library. I will not sully the reputation of old farts.

I was at the Jurong East Library several years ago, and saw a young mother reading a book while seated on a sofa, and holding her baby daughter who was fast asleep. A librarian who lacked common sense, told the mom that sleeping is not permitted in the library, and advised her to wake her baby up, or both of them had to leave. Why does NLB hire such brain dead robots?
