Seems to me that anyone can be a COE of a company as long as you are related to the pap. Qualifications and experience is secondary. Guan xi is till more important.

"Buzz over new Tin Pei Ling video"
sg.news.yahoo.com/blogs/singaporescene/buzz-over-tin-pei-ling-video-081238560.html
(by Jeff Oon, 16 May 2011)

A new video featuring Marine Parade MP-elect Tin Pei Ling is quickly making its rounds online.

Shot and uploaded in Sep 2008, it appears to be a promotional video shot in conjunction with the National Youth Forum of 2008, which was entitled "Changing Perspectives".

The amateur YouTube video shows Miss Tin, then 24, dressed in jeans and a yellow spaghetti top, acting as a love-lorn girl who plays the "he loves me, he loves me not" game while counting down the many rings on her hand.

The 39-second video then ends with an unidentified man kneeling down beside her in a make-believe marriage proposal with Tin nodding in acceptance.

The video ends with the message, "NYF 2008: Be Engaged".

Although uploaded in 2008, it's not known how or why the video, which has been seen over 300 times as of Monday, has surfaced at this time although netizens have been quick to distribute the video via Facebook.

One user, Claudio Chock, wrote, "splendid acting skills from our new MP" while another, Sylvia Lim said, "I have no words."

Ms Tin has been actively involved in the NYF and chaired the organising committee of the 2006 event.

The NYF began in 2004 to address Prime Minister Lee Hsien Long's call to enhance the level of youth civic participation and nation building in Singapore. In NYF, youths from different backgrounds have a chance to debate national issues and spearhead initiatives to benefit the community at large.

Ms Tin was part of Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong's winning Peeople's Action Party team in Marine Parade GRC in the recent elections.

Although expected to serve the residents of the McPherson ward, she has been heavily criticised in recent weeks for being too inexperienced to become an MP.

An ongoing petition to remove her as an MP is also circulating online and has collected over 17,000 signatures.
