Ramp up law enforcement against online hate speech

Immigration has been a hot issue recently. While I believe that different perspectives can be debated, I am alarmed by the number of online posts that seek to incite hatred against foreigners.
Currently, there is strong law enforcement against racist speech. Last year, a student was expelled from school for making racist remarks in an online video.
Yet, almost daily, many posts containing offensive remarks against foreigners appear on news portals and other websites.
It is perfectly okay to say, "large numbers of immigrants depress wages and strain infrastructure", but not hate speech, which could undermine Singapore's reputation as an international hub that welcomes foreign investment and manpower.
It could also cause disharmony and strife between foreigners and native Singaporeans.
Anti-foreigner speech is as offensive as racist speech. I would like to see equally strong law enforcement applied against both.
