Are you a product of Singapore's education system?
Yes and no

Do you have some Indian blood in you?
. Typical useless arts graduate (out of 10 at most only 1 with substance), full of talks and dreams.
One should dream---otherwise you are no different from an animal. As a matter of fact ancient civilization clubbed all sciences into philosophy, from there sciences took it's own divisions.
Today we define dreams by a better word; visions--visionary and so on.And further refined to forecasts for future by 5 years from now,20 years onwards and so on.No board of public listed company nor a political party can get away without tabling such forecasts.
You have a lot to learn about real life my friend.
The PAP and MOE have tried to praise Singapore's Education System by selectively highlighting its achievements.
To me a place to get perfect education is bloody step out in the society and work. All the rest is just bloody bullshit and empty talks.
With the recent release of the 'O' level results,,its seems that Foreigners in our system seem to do pretty well,,,guess we are not as good as rote learning as we thought...
What happen usually to all these bright young men and women we have that had completed their education with excellent results? Where are they now?

imagine them doing English, Mandarin, E-Maths, A-Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, SS+Elect Humanity, one core humanity subject, plus Bahasa Melayu. how can they not be top student with 10 A1s? they spend their academic time on the 9 subjects and their Bahasa is kuat kuat, just pay money & sit for paper only![]()
For example you cannot test intellectual, moral, social and environmental values and such in science subjects
I am no great tutor but taught him to believe in himself.

Exactly as how they run our economy--only the GDP counts, nothing else.

I am not so sure about the rest of the curriculum but I would imagine it to be a struggle and a major adaptation to change the language of instruction from primary school to secondary school both for the students and for the teachers.
Maybe if he/she is allowed to continue in all areas of interest there will be more discoveries and inventions.
... maybe this generation would be better off if there were less distraction from TV, mobiles, movies & shopping and then they had more time to think![]()
