The last People's Liberation Army Cavalry
Thanks for the info. Also notice many modern days cavalry units are use for ceremonial events. It is regular and plenty. They are deployed as regular rural border defence and missile / radar site parameter patrols. They won't change to other types. Highlands are very step in certain areas and deep snow in many months of each year. Mechanised alternative require too much fuel.

it makes military & economy senseNot in PRC. The Tibetan & Mongolian borders are high mountains and desert areas. Some outpost at high altitudes are almost fully cut off from supplies for 3 month each year buried in 20 foot snow. These sites are best radar station sites due to paramount advantage. Must deploy and guard, so horse are used as vehicles.![]()

Right propose LHL to have a battalion too. Deploy @ Kanji Turf Club can open Saturday Sunday 4D number and also guard his daddy's grave at Kanji Memorial.![]()
