That's also no good. Sit down and talk. Guys are so violent. What ego? Beat up people got ego? Go to jail got ego? Guys, please be cool. And cool means sit down and talk it over. Fighting is not cool.
My Dear Irene Yeoh,
This is a serious matter. Its nothing laughable or something that we can take easy. Innocent lives are at stake. Just for staring.............
Our young kids are involved.
Though I feel sorry for them (victims and attackers) because they are still young and "hot-blooded", I simply cannot cannot wait to see something worse happening tomorrow. Todays youngsters easily get "carried away" and may not realise the ultimate consequences. Gory scenes...........
The there was a girl who took part in the "soot soot soot" (attack). Maybe her boyfriend was trying to "impress her" about his "manliness" (if he has any!!!).
What a shame. Who to blame?. The parents or the juvenile delinquents. Is working parents the cause?
Now back to the Guardians of the Law. Our men in blue and mufti (plainclothes) from the Singapore Police Force.
Why have the Force become so lackaidisical over the years? Has it to do with leadership? Has it to do with getting more votes from the younger generation?
I have noticed that many incidents took place during the time Wong Kan Seng was at the MHA. Terrorist escaped............etc......
The Force has statutory laws and wide powers under the Societies Act to arrest suspected secret society members and hold them for a number of days....... Why no one from the Secret Society Branch use this law?
It was an effective law in those good ol day when even the likes of Lim Ban Lim @ Thau Hong Lim, Or Kim Kee, Lau Ngut Fong and Morgan tend to wet their pants at the mention of it.
What has happened? What has gone wrong? Are our men from the Force so timid and frightened of such "hopeless and good-for-nothing ruffians". In those good old days a shout or light slap would suffice.... The suspects would squirm and vomit the truth and nothing but the HARD truth.
Why so different today?.
Is it because the Police Force has emphasised on the need to have graduates in its top command? What does these graduates know about pai-kias? Maybe they possess a degree in nuclear science, nuts and bolts, mathematics, etc.... Hence they are good only at providing crime figures, as compared to the old days commanders who use to follow the posse on manhunt for wanted gunmen.
Hey, those of you looking at this thread!! Do the name Aw Yong Weng Wah? Is there any recall??????????????. That was the name that sent chills down the spines of even the worst gangster of the 70's.
Maybe the Police should recall their old-timers as advisors to control the situation. Some of them maybe in their 70's.
Like Lee Kuan Yew, they can become good mentors to the new-comers for they posess a 'reservoir of experience"
We do not who is gonna be the next victim. The son of a peasant or the ruling elite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
