But the highly paid ones can give memorable excuses like, " the drains were block by vegetation", " one in a 50 years thing", " act of god", but a flood is a flood! It is not the money, it is the quality for that kind of money paid.

Singapore being 1st World with extremely highest paid civil servants cannot prevent floods in a small litlle island. Kajang is deep inland and have to depend on rivers and lakes to drain the rainwater. Best part is these highly paid ministers have yearly budgets to resolve the problem, yet they failed. Failure for these civil servants does not lead to any punishment. In fact they are now receiving 1.8 months bonus for a job "well-done." WTF!!
