There are many words in Thai for this. Some are official titles and cannot suka suka use and some are generic. Jao Cai/Jao Ying is a general term for prince/princess
If you are interested in these, you can watch the Royal news at 2000 hours on all Thai tv channels. The news broadcaster are specially trained to pronounced the titles/names correctly.

hey!
Thought you are on the way to BKK now?
Anyway, cost to settle 'caught using phone while driving' in Pattaya/Jomtien is THB 300 for Thais and THB 600 for foreigners. Double the amount regardless of Thai/Foreigner if you forgot to renew your annual "car stickers". Driving license if forgot, add another THB 200.

Doesn't work on some days of the month. Like SG, now they also have some quota system but the primary target is riding motorcycle without helmet.

My worst senario was:

1. Both rider and pillon did not wear helmet - (THB 600)
2. Unable to display the bike's green book (book to proof ownership) - THB 300
3. Driving License expired - THB 200 (This one actually not serious, more serious for insurance claims but not MATA)
4. Did not display road tax aka tax sticker - THB 200
5. Make Illegal U-Turn (THB 300)
6. Drunk Driving (Free since I look quite OK but Mata Jai Dee (good heart) did not take this into consideration)

Initially, mata want to cheong kong my bike cos' too many offense in one catch. Ended up, got a 'discount' and settled above package for THB 600.

Add another advice. If you meet Matas in Thailand, be polite and 'Wai' them saying Kor Tot, Kor Tot (sorry, sorry). Usually, they are quite reasonable unless it's a big traffic accident and there's no way they can untie the matter. For some unknown reasons, Traffic Mata in LOS like to use "Lu" and "Wa", same as Teochew you and me. Any lao cheows care to share some light.

Now check-bill at สุดทางรัก restaurant at Laemchabang port. Four of us actually in one car. My partner driving. Leaving soon. Thanks for the tip. But in Thailand easy to get away with most things.

OK, 1.5 hour more hours to go. Have a nice trip back to BKK.

Yo bro I want to say that I cannot read or write Thai, that was by my partner. My spoken thai is also damn jialat despite staying here for past 6 years. Paisay paisay.

Hehehe. Spoken Thai is as easy as Hokkien. To make a sentence polite, just add the word krab at the end of the sentence. Most Thais will understand a mixture of Thai/Teochews/Hokkien/English rojaked together. Beauty of LOS!

That's right. Just anyhow say and anyhow mix. Then one fine day, suddenly you realize that you can speak understandable Thai. Go to a bookshop and buy a simple Thai alphabet book if you're interested to read and write too. Not really necessary but useful if you got the time to learn it and spending lots of time in Thailand.

"Hontoni Aroi

actually think some Thais can understand this cos' there's quite a lot of Ji Pun Kia in LOS and so some are quite used to listening to Japanese/Thai rojak. Most will know Takai (expensive) and Ii (good).

Alamaking brain is always mixed up. No surprise. Wear orange jersey to go Jakarta, only to have the Indonesians tell him, Holland has been kicked out from Indonesia long ago.
